PRAYERLINE

You may be feeling under real pressure, at home or at work.

If you'd like someone to pray for you, email your prayer request to greenislandparish@hotmail.co.uk and our prayer team will pray for you. A prayer meeting is held every Thursday from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, temporary location is in the Methodist Church on the Station Road

The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5

Prayer Points

  • that people would be called to worship

  • for our Sunday school teachers, children and young people

  • for the persecuted Christians throughout the world

especially Afghanistan

  • for victims of the awful earthquake in Haiti

If you would like prayer for yourself or someone you know who is going through a troubled time – write their name on a card and place in the box at the cross (back of church). Or, just ask, we would consider it a real privilege to pray with you.

PASTORAL VISITING

The Minister and pastoral team are available to telephone or email. See our Home Page for contact details

All it takes is a visit from someone who offers prayer, Godly encouragement, and news from the church. Our minister and pastoral visitors regularly visit people whose health problems are hindering their attendance at worship services or other church activities.

To Request a Visit, call the church office on 02890859676 or contact us online at greenislandparish@hotmail.co.uk.

Provide the patient’s name, the name and address of their hospital or nursing facility, and the dates they are expected to be there.

For home visits, provide the individual’s name, home address, and home phone number, or write the above information down and give it to a churchwarden on Sunday.

Please affirm the person’s approval for a Pastoral Visitor to visit before informing us.
